Updated CC&Rs and ByLaws Town Hall Meeting

Thank you to the community for providing input and asking questions at the TownHall meeting. The Board will be meeting with the lawyer to discuss updates and edits.
We appreciate the feedback.
This is a virtual meeting with the lawyer to review the updated CC&Rs and ByLaws for our community. Feel free to ask questions or provide suggests on changes you would like added.

In accordance with the Davis- Stirling Act, this significant project will need broad community support and a vote to move forward. After this meeting, homeowners will be sent a ballot to vote on the new documents. This vote requires a significant number of homeowners approval, please vote as soon as possible.

What Are CC&Rs and Bylaws, and Why Do They Matter?

CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions) and Bylaws are the foundation for how the HOA operates.

CC&Rs are all about the neighborhood itself. They outline what homeowners can and can’t do with their properties—things like maintaining a certain look, following architectural guidelines, and keeping up with general community standards. These rules help protect property values and keep the neighborhood looking great.

Bylaws focus on how the HOA operates. They explain how the board is structured, how decisions are made, and the roles and responsibilities of board members.

These documents are important because they set expectations, keep things fair, and make sure everyone is on the same page. They help maintain the community’s safety, appearance, and overall quality of life while giving a framework for resolving issues when they come up. The CC&Rs, ByLaws, and Rulebook work together in our community.
